The 4^th International Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences

1. Rationale

          At present, all organizations attach major importance to research production with the aim of applying the research results in developing the organizations, society and the country.  Faculty of Liberal Arts, an organization that produces work in humanities and social sciences, also sees the importance of applying research results for the best benefits and therefore jointly organizes the 4^th International Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences with the National Writers Association Malaysia (PENA) to provide a place for lecturers, academics, graduate students and the general public interested in the fields to disseminate their academic work.

2. Objectives

          2.1 To present academic and research work in humanities and social sciences produced by lecturers, academics, graduate students and the general public interested in the fields.

          2.2 To strengthen networks in humanities and social sciences among lecturers, academics, graduate students and the general public interested in the fields in the country and abroad.

          2.3 To provide an opportunity for lecturers, academics, graduate students and the general public interested in the fields to exchange their experience in conducting research.

3. Modes of conference

          3.1 Keynote addresses

          3.2 Allotted time for presentation is 15 minutes and 10 minutes for questions.

4. Types of work to be presented

          Research results, studies, theses or minor theses in humanities and social sciences that have not been presented or publicized elsewhere.

5. Participants

          150 lecturers, academics, graduate students and the general public interested in the fields

          Rapeepun Suwannatachote Room, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus
